3. STARTING UP THE D-CINE PREMIERE DP100

3.1 Switching On the projector

How to switch On the projector

1. First, carry out the projector check up (see "Check up the D-Cine Premiere DP100", page 5).

2. Press the tumbler switch (A) in the “I” position (ON state indicated by a visible red section of the switch). (image 3-1)

Note:

Ensure that the power tumbler switch on the input panel on the projector head is in the ON state

After power On switching, the projector boots up for a while (±30s) and the final status of the projector is as follows: (image 3-2,
image 3-3)

Explanation

Lamp Off

The lamp is OFF , indicated by the built-in Red LED ON (A).

Dowser closed

The dowser is closed, indicated by the built-in Red LED ON (B).

Push button controls

The last pressed button is selected, indicated by the built-in Green LED On (D).

Control panel status

After boot up of the projector

without (power) FAILURE detection, the status LED

changes over from Red to Green (C).

Touch screen panel

The start up menu “HOME” is displayed on the screen (E).

Panel lighting

Blue panel lightning is on.

Projector Cooling System

Explanation

Fans

All Fans as well the Exhaust are activated, starting the air ventilation in the projector.

Engine cooling

The water pump in the cooling circuit is activated, starting the liquid circulation
into the engine and the radiator.

Projector Status Lights (image 3-3)

Explanation

Status lights

While the projector is booting up, the status light will be flashing red.

After boot up of the projector

without ERROR detection, the color of the status

Lights (A) are Green. When an error is detected, the color changes to Red.
