Tuner functions

After selecting TUNER, the internal AM/FM tuner features are controlled as follows:

For Controlling:

Use Buttons:

Description:

AM/FM Band

BAND

Alternates between AM and FM bands.

Tuning/Seek

TUNE -/+

Adjusts tuning frequency.

Direct Frequency Entry

FREQ then number keypad (0-9)

To directly enter a station frequency.

FM Stereo/Mono

MENU then

x

Manually select between stereo and
mono reception.

Save a Station Preset

SAVE, STATION -/+, then

To save a desired station to memory.

ENTER

There are 20 presets per band.

Recall a Station Preset

STATION -/+

To recall a saved station.

Auto-program Station

MENU then ENTER

Allows the AVP to program the Station

presets

memory for you.

Tuner Operation

AM/FM Band -

Changing band is accomplished by simply pressing the BAND
button. It will toggle the tuner between the FM and AM band.

Tuning/Seek -

Adjusts the tuners frequency to tune in a desired station. Pressing
TUNE once steps frequency manually while pressing and holding
momentarily engages “seek”.

Direct Frequency
Entry

To enter a station’s frequency directly into the tuner. Press the
FREQ button on the remote.
The message ENTER FREQUENCY will appear on the display.
Enter the numbers of the desired station frequency using the
numeric keypad (0-9).

Example:

Press FREQ , then 9 6 9. The dot “.” is automatic.
Display will show:
