1. Set the Theft Lock code number according to the
procedures described on page 3-66.
and enter
2. To activate Theft Lock, press (M) [|
your lock code. Observe the current setting appears on
the display.
3. Press OD or CED to toggle through the two possible
selections—On or Off. To activate, select On.
4. For car mount use only, enter 3 (or more) digits as a
desired forwarding phone number.
5. Press to save the setting in memory.

- The phone automatically exits this mode after three
seconds.
NOTES:
If an alarm sounds when Theft Lock is displayed, stop the
tone by powering

phone OFF and then ON again and re
entering your lock code.
You can make a call using the pre-determined number, even
if it exceeds the Dialing Digits Restriction feature (see page
3-58).
