Tap Tempo, Speed Switching, & Ducking

Some of the MOD and REV section’s effects can be controlled using a foot switch:

•TEMPO parameter for the TMD and TDL effects (tap tempo).
• SPD parameter for the ROT effect (rotary speed: OFF, SLOW, FAST)
• A ducking function is engaged while the foot switch is pressed.

The following table shows when these functions can be used.

• Operation Procedure

1. Connect the foot switch to the MEMORY INC/DEC TRIGGER jack on the rear panel.

2. Press the foot switch in time with the song tempo. The intervals between foot switch presses

are used to calculate the tempo, and set the TEMPO parameter. The TEMPO parameter will

be reset each time the foot switch is pressed.

Modulation Restart Function

When tap tempo is used with the TMD effect of the MOD effect section, the modulation will

restart each time the foot switch is pressed. This maintains modulation cycle consistency dur

ing each song measure.

This Restart function is effective even if the TRG parameter is set to OFF, TAP or MIDI.
