Repacking the Machine
Should you need to transport or relocate the machine, please follow the instructions below to prepare your machine for shipping.
IMPORTANT
Damage caused by improper packing may result in a service charge to repair the unit or to clean spilled toner.

Disconnect the machine from the AC outlet and telephone socket.

Remove the ADF tray, recording paper tray, and both paper cassettes.

Open the receiving cover. Remove the drum unit and developer unit.

Reattach the side seal cap to the developer uiut and tape aroimd the developer unit to avoid spreading toner (see page 9).

Pack the developer unit with toner cartridge in the original developer unit carton, and store it in a clean and dark place.

Remove the drum unit and reattach the drum protective cap. Put it in the original drum unit carton and store it in a clean
and dark place.

Refer to the diagram under unpacking to replace the unit into the box (see page 8).
