A-Net Transmit/Receive

The A‑Net Transmit settings affect 6416dio channels being sent into the

network. Receive settings set the port from which the 6416dio will draw

channels from the network to be output as AES3 digital data from the 6416dio

module’s rear panel jacks to other digital devices.

Auto Mode

When the Pro64 network is operating in Auto Mode, the red Auto LED in the

Network Mode section of the user interface will be lit. No user port settings

are available on a per‑module basis. It does not matter which rear‑panel

A‑Net port (A or B) is used when connecting Pro64 devices to the network

in Auto Mode.

When the network is operating in Auto Mode, both Port LEDs in the Transmit

and Receive sections will remain unlit. They function only in Manual Mode.

Remember, only the network Control Master can change the Network Mode

setting from Auto to Manual.

The Network Mode LEDs will display either Auto or Manual on all modules in

the network.

Manual Mode - Transmit

In Manual Mode, the user has the option of transmitting A‑Net data to either

or both A‑Net ports on the rear of the 6416dio module. Once the Control

Master has set the network to operate in Manual Mode, the red Manual

LED and at least one of the yellow Port LEDs will be lit on every Pro64 I/O

module.
