MESSAGING
Visual Voice Mail
Visual Voice Mail allows the management of voice mail directly from
the device rather than accessing voice mail via traditional methods.
Visual Voice Mail displays a list of messages and allows the user to
choose which message to listen to or erase, without having to dial into
their mailbox, listen to voice instructions, or prior messages.
To access Visual Voice Mail:
1. From idle mode with the flip open, press the Center Select Key
[MENU], select Messaging, then press the Center Select Key
[OK]. Select Visual Voice Mail and then press the Center Select
Key [OK] to access the Visual Voice Mail application for download,
and future use.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Mobile IM
Instant message with AIM, WL Messenger or Yahoo!
To send and receive an Instant Message:
1. From idle mode with the flip open, press the Center Select Key
[MENU], select Messaging, then press the Center Select Key
[OK]. Select Mobile IM and then press the Center Select Key
[OK].
Mobile IM launches.
2. Press the Left Soft Key [Accept] to accept the terms & conditions.
3. Press the Directional Key = left or right to select your instant
message community, then press the Center Select Key [OK].
4. To send and receive an instant message, follow the on-screen
prompts and functions.
