6 .4 .1 Starting the NIRMaster Operator software
The Operator software can be set to start automatically (via Autostart folder entry) after login proce-
dure or manually. This requires administrative rights.
To start the program manually, use the program icon on the desktop.
After startup, the program establishes the internal connection to the interferometer. This is indicated by
a progress bar at the bottom line of the program window and green icons in the lower right corner.
Buttons main window
Button Function key Functionality
F2 ‘Start’ ➡ starts measurement (can be used repeatingly until batch is closed)
F3 ‘Stop’ ➡ stops running measurement
n.a. ‘Close batch’ ➡ will finalize batch after safety confirmation
n.a. F4 Service view
n.a. F5 Logger
F6 ‘Connect’ ➡ establishes internal connection between interferometer and built-in PC
F7 ‘Back’ ➡ calls up initial NIRWare Operator window
F8 ‘Start Wizard’ ➡ calls up the wizards batch manager window (see. 6.5.2)
‘Close Operator’ ➡ exits the NIRWare Operator software
