Center of gravity
An important part of preparing the aircraft for flight is
properly balancing the model.
1. Attach the wing panels to the fuselage. Make sure to
connect the leads from the aileron to the appropriate leads
from the receiver. Make sure the leads are not exposed
outside the fuselage before tightening the wing bolts. Your
model should be flight-ready before balancing.
2. The recommended Center of Gravity (CG) location for
your model is 3.00–3.50 inches (75–89mm) back from the
leading edge of the wing at the wing root as shown. Mark the
location of the CG on the top of the wing.
3. When balancing your model, make sure it is assembled
and ready for flight. Support the plane inverted at the
marks made on the wing with your fingers or a commercially
available balancing stand. This is the correct balance point
for your model.
Î When balancing your model with retracts, the
Center of Gravity will shift slightly between the UP
and DOWN positions. Make sure to balance your
model with the retracts in the UP position.

Ein sehr wichtiger Teil in der Flugvorbereitung ist es das
Flugzeug richtig auszubalancieren.
1. Montieren Sie Tragflächen am Rumpf. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass die Querruderservoanschlüsse in die richtigen Buchsen
am Empfänger gesteckt sind. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine
Kabel zwischen Rumpf und Fläche herausschauen. Das
Modell sollte vor dem Balancieren flugfertig ausgerüstet
sein.
2. Der empfohlene Schwerpunkt für Ihr Modell befindet
sich in 75–89 mm Entfernung zur Flügelvorderkante, wie
abgebildet. Markieren Sie den Schwerpunkt an der Oberseite
des Flügels.
3. Das Modell sollte vor dem Ausbalancieren flugfertig
ausgerüstet sein. Stellen Sie das ungedrehte Flugzeug mit
den Markierungen auf dem Flügel auf Ihre Fingerspitzen oder
einen im Handel erhältlichen Balancierständer. Dies ist der
richtige Balancepunkt für Ihr Modell.
Î Bei dem Balancieren des Modell variiert
der Schwerpunkt etwas mit eingefahrem oder
ausgefahrenem Fahrwerk. Stellen Sie den
Schwerpunkt mit eingefahrenem Fahrwerk ein.

Une des étapes importantes de la préparation d’un modèle
est son équilibrage.
1. Fixez les ailes au fuselage. Vérifiez que les ailerons sont
reliés aux prises appropriées du récepteur. Contrôlez que
les câbles ne dépassent pas du fuselage avant de serrer
les ailes. Votre modèle doit être prêt à voler pour effectuer
l’équilibrage.
2. Le centre de gravité (CG) recommandé de votre modèle
se situe à 75-89 mm en retrait du bord d’attaque de l’aile,
comme illustré. Marquer l’emplacement du centre de gravité
sur l’aile.
3. Avant de procéder à l’équilibrage de votre modèle,
assurez-vous qu’il est correctement assemblé et prêt à
voler. Placez votre avion sur le dos et soutenez-le au niveau
des repères pris sur les ailes avec vos doigts ou un banc
d’équilibrage du commerce. Cette opération vous permet de
trouver le point d’équilibre approprié de votre modèle.
Î Lors de l’équilibrage de votre modèle avec des trains
rétractables, le centre de gravité se déplacera légèrement
entre les positions HAUT et BAS. Assurez-vous d’équilibrer
votre modèle avec les trains rétractables en position HAUT.

Un punto importante per preparare l’aereo al volo è quello di
fare un centraggio corretto.
1. Fissare l’ala alla fusoliera e collegare le prolunghe dei
servi alettoni al relativo canale sul ricevitore. Bisogna
fare attenzione che queste prolunghe non sporgano dalla
fusoliera quando si fissa l’ala. Il modello sarebbe pronto al
volo prima del bilanciamento.
2. La posizione consigliata per il centro di gravità
(baricentro) del modello è 75–89 mm più indietro rispetto
al bordo di attacco dell’ala, come mostrato. Segnare la
posizione del baricentro sulla parte alta dell’ala.
3. Quando si bilancia il modello, verificare che sia
correttamente assemblato e pronto al volo. Sostenere l’aereo
ribaltato appoggiando le dita sui segni fatti sull’ala, oppure
mettendo nella stessa posizione un apposito supporto
disponibile in commercio. Tale posizione indica il punto di
equilibrio corretto del modello.
Î Quando si bilancia il modello con gli elementi
retrattili, il centro di gravità si sposta leggermente
a seconda che essi siano nella posizione SU o nella
posizione GIÙ. Accertarsi di bilanciare il modello
con gli elementi retrattili nella posizione SU.
