7.5 Information banner

The information banner appears on the screen after each change of channels. The information banner
includes the channel number and name, title of the active programme and active channel list.

Additionally, other channel properties are displayed:
Example:

for teletext,

for 16:9 programmes,

for coded channels,

for Dolby Digital broadcast,

for screen text,

for mono programmes.

Additionally, the progress bar (yellow) with the time that passed since the beginning of the programme
is displayed. If the end of the progress bar is red, the active programme will be prolonged.

7.6 Displaying time and programme information

This function allows the user to display information about the active channel.
> Press the Info button to display information about the active channel.
In the lower part of the screen information with the current time, name of the selected channel and
start and end time of the programme will be displayed, if such information is sent by the broadcasting
station.

7.7 Detailed channel information

This function allows the user to get detailed information about the active channel, if available.

> Pressing the Info button twice increases the information window and displays detailed information

for the set channel.

> Longer texts can be moved by lines using the up/down arrow keys or by pages using the right/left

arrow keys.

> Pressing the Info button again displays information about the next programme, if available.
> Pressing the Info button deactivates the window.

7.8 Reception of coded programmes

The device is equipped with integrated CONAX decoding systems (Smartcard reader) for reception of
coded channels. To view coded channels, put the CONAX smart card into the built-in card reader.
> Put the CONAX smart card into the built-in card reader (gold chip down, towards the direction of in-

troducing the card into the slot).

Additional functions
Several channels off er specifi c additional functions. The multi-feed channels feature an option of e.g.
selecting meetings, changing audio channels or camera perspective during sports programmes. Some
channels also off er the possibility of setting the start time of the ordered fi lm.
To choose one of the options, press the Options button. The window with available options is display-
ed.
> Use the up/down arrows to choose an option and confi rm by pressing the OK button.
