9.3.2.2.5.1.2 Selecting the channel/source
In order to select or block channels and sources for the particular user more easily, you can select chan-
nels and sources separately or simultaneously.
Separate selection or blocking
> using the arrow keys and/or numeric keys you can select the channels which you want to make ac-
cessible or inaccessible to the user.
> press the yellow function key.
Next to the marked station a padlock appears or disappears.

Here you can make movies /DVR recordings/ pictures/ music accessible or inaccessible to a specifi c user.
9.3.2.2.6 Time restrictions/Usage time
After confi guring the access restrictions, set the time limit for using the device.
9.4 Channel search
There are a signifi cant number of possibilities to use in order to search for new programmes.
a. Automatic scan
Select this type of search to scan all programmes
Antenna settings.
b. Extended search
Select this type of search to scan according to:

channels
b.
frequency
c.
network
c. Manual scan
Select this type of search to search specifi cally for one particular frequency/programme
9.4.1 After the scanning
When the scanning procedure has been completed, a message will appear on your screen indicating
how many programmes were found by the digital receiver, how many of these are new programmes,
and how many are encrypted programmes. In addition, a query will be displayed asking whether you
wish to sort the programmes found into the TV or radio list automatically, whether you want them to
be added automatically at the end of the list, or whether you wish to sort them manually.
Automatic sorting
The programmes found will be sorted into the Main Favourites list in accordance with a pre-programmed
list. The order of the programmes is determined by the audio language selected or by the country selected.
