Audio Distribution System

Crestron Adagio™ AADS

• Confirm Ethernet connections between the AADS and PC. If connecting

through a hub, use CAT5 straight through cables with 8-pin RJ-45
connectors. Alternatively, Use a CAT5 crossover cable to connect the two
LAN ports directly, without using a hub.

• Use the Address Book in Crestron Toolbox to create an entry for the

AADS with the AADS’ TCP/IP communication parameters.

• Display the “System Info” window (click the

icon) and select the

AADS entry. Communications are confirmed when the device information
is displayed.

• The Functions menu displays a list of actions that can be performed on the

AADS:




Upgrade firmware

IP Table

SIMPL Program

• Upload the SIMPL Windows file to the AADS using SIMPL Windows or

Crestron Toolbox.

• Upload the VisionTools Pro-e file to the AADS using VisionTools Pro-e or

the Crestron Toolbox.

• Upgrade AADS firmware via Crestron Toolbox.

Establish serial or TCP/IP communications with the AADS.

Select Functions | Firmware… to upgrade the AADS firmware.
