Chapter 3: Getting Started
Measuring the Inflow
Velocity
Inflow values and measurement
procedures for the PuriCare are
described fully in Chapter 6:
Maintaining Your PuriCare.
Initial Certification
Prior to use, all PuriCare stations should be certified by
a qualified certifier. Under normal operating
conditions, the PuriCare stations should be recertified at
least annually and when serviced. The certifier should
perform the following tests:
• HEPA Filter Leak Test
• Inflow Velocity Test
• Airflow Smoke Patterns
