During the function approximation, one must remember that for the ap-
proximation of functions strongly differing from the linear characteristic
, the higher the number of linearizing segments, the smallest the error
related to the linearization.
If measured values are smallest from H1 then, recalculations will be
made on the base of the first straight line calculated on the base of
points (H1,Y1) an (H2,Y2). However, for values higher than Hn (where n
– the last declared measured value) the value to display will be calcu-
lated on the base of the last assigned linear function.
Note: All introduced points of the measured value (Hn) must be arran-

ged in the increasing sequence, such to preserve the following depen-
dence:

H1 < H2 < H3... < Hn

If the above is not fulfilled, the individual characteristic function will be
automatically switched off (will not be realized) and a diagnostic flag
will be set in the status register.
