Description


General Parameters


Enable 802.1x

This allows you to enable/disable the 802.1x function


Session Idle Timeout

If the wireless network device idle, not sending or
receiving data, over the Session Idle Timeout, the
access point will close the session for this wireless
network device. If the wireless network device want to
access the wireless network, it has to authenticate again.
You can set this value as 0 and all session will never
timeout.


Re-Authentication Period

If the wireless network device has accessed the wireless
network over Re-Authentication Period, the access point
will force it to authenticate again before allowing the
device keep accessing the wireless network. You can
set this value as 0, then all wireless network devices can
keep accessing the wireless network without having to
re-authenticate after a period of time.


Quiet Period

If a wireless network device fail to pass authentication 3
times, then it has to wait for Quiet Period before it can try
to authenticate again.


Server Type

You can select RADIUS server as the authentication
server and you have to setup the RADIUS server
parameters below. You also can select TINY server as
the authentication server and you have to setup TINY
server users profile below to add user accounts.

Edit

Click “Edit” to modify the username/password entry.


Delete

Click “Delete” to delete the username/password entry.


Username

Enter the user name of the user account.


Password

Enter the password of the user account.


Re-Type Password

Enter the password of the user account. The re-typed
must be exactly the same with password.


New

After entering the user name and password of the user
account, press “New” and the user account will be added
into the account list.


Clear

Press “Clear”, the user name and password you are
editing will be erased.
