Call Alert Operation

Call Alert paging enables you to alert a specific radio user to call
you back when they are able to do so.

This feature is applicable for subscriber aliases or IDs only and
is accessible through the menu via Contacts.

Receiving and Responding to a Call Alert

When you receive a Call Alert page, you see the notification list
listing a Call Alert with the alias or ID of the calling radio on the
display.

Procedure:

You hear a repetitive tone. The LED blinks yellow.

Press the PTT button while the display still shows the Call
Alert in the Notification List to respond with a Private Call.
OR
Press

d

to exit the Notification List. The alert is moved to

the Missed Call Log.

Making a Call Alert from the Contacts List

Procedure:

to select.

to the required subscriber alias or ID and

to select.

to Call Alert and press

to select.

The display shows Call Alert and the subscriber alias or
ID, indicating that the Call Alert has been sent.

The LED lights up solid green when your radio is sending
the Call Alert.

If the Call Alert acknowledgement is received, the display
shows positive mini notice.
OR
If the Call Alert acknowledgement is not received, the
display shows negative mini notice.
