The sealed lead acid power supply also features a fuel gauge on the Power Supply:

Indicator Light
(from left to right)
Description
Green Power Light Indicates that the power supply is plugged into an AC outlet.
Green Charging Light Indicates that the battery is charging.
Low Battery Indicator Off as long as battery charge is greater than 12% or when the AC
cord is plugged in.
Flashes when the battery charge drops below 12%.
Will resume flashing if AC cord is disconnected and the charge is
still less than 12%.
7 Amber Lights
Low High
Fully Charged
Indicates the full charge level of the battery.
When the battery is finished charging, all the amber lights are lit
and the green charging light turns off. The green power LED stays
on, unless the power supply is unplugged.
Low High
Nearly Discharged
As the battery discharges, the lights go out from right to left.
