GLASS DOOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
In the event your glass cracks or breaks, Archgard recommends that a complete new door assembly be
ordered to replace the original door.
 Remove door as per the instructions above.
 Replace with new door assembly.

Do not operate appliance with the glass front cracked or broken. Replacement of the glass should be
done by a licensed or qualified service person.
IF YOUR GLASS BREAKS

Do not substitute glazing materials. Use ARCHGARD certified replacement parts
N O T E
The new door will emit some odor/fumes when the appliance is re-lit . This will quickly dissipate after gasket
material within the door has cured.
C A U T I O N
Do not attempt to remove the glass door when the appliance is hot.
1. Just above the door frame reach in and pull the two finger rings forward (25-A).
2. Pull and lift the finger rings to detach from the door frame (25-B).
3. Pull the door forward until the bottom catches release.
4. Lift door up and away.
5. To replace the door line up the two bottom catches with the notches on the fireplace. While
pushing evenly on the bottom of the door lift up on the top of the door until it engages.
6. Push down on the top of the door to ensure the door is seated all the way down on the catches.
7. Pull the finger rings out and down to engage in the slots on the top of the door frame.
8. Push the finger rings back.
