REMOTE CONTROL SETUP AND OPERATION

1.

Connect IFC Control Module to AC power supply. A single “beep” will indicate the presence of power. NOTE: This will initiate Pilot
Start-up in Manual Mode. The pilot will spark repeatedly and ignite if gas has been supplied to the unit if the main power switch is in
the “ON” position.

2.

Install three (3) AAA batteries into the Handheld Remote battery bay.

3.

Press red SW1 button until the IFC module beeps three (3) times and/or the amber LED illuminates indicating the module is ready
to synchronize with the remote.

4.

Within ten (10) seconds push the ON/OFF button on the handheld remote to lock in code to the module. The IFC module will
“beep” four (4) times to indicate a successful link.

5.

Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the pilot. This indicates the handheld remote is now in control of the IFC Control Module.

6.

Install the provided four (4) AA batteries into battery back up holder.

TURN “ON” THE APPLIANCE

With the system OFF, press the ON/OFF Key on the Transmitter. The
Transmitter display will show other active icons on the screen. At the
same time the Receiver will activate the appliance. A single “beep”
from the receiver will confirm reception of the command.

TURN “OFF” THE APPLIANCE

With the system OFF, press the ON/OFF Key on the Transmitter. The
Transmitter display will show other active icons on the screen. At the
same time the Receiver will activate the appliance. A single “beep”
from the receiver will confirm reception of the command.

INITIALIZING THE SYSTEM FOR MANUAL OPERATION

1.

Connect IFC Control Module to AC power supply. A single “beep” will indicate the presence of power. NOTE: This will initiate Pilot
Start-up in Manual Mode. The pilot will spark repeatedly and ignite if gas has been supplied to the unit if the main power switch is in
the “ON” position.

The ON/OFF rocker switch on the surround must be connected to the leads coming from the module

Press red SW1 button until the IFC module beeps three (3) times and/or the amber LED illuminates indicating the module is ready
to synchronize with the remote.

4.

Within ten (10) seconds push the red SW1 button on the IFC again to lock in the manual mode. The IFC module will “beep” four
(4) times to indicate a successful link. In this mode the fireplace will only turn ON/OFF with no optional functions

5.

The rocker switch on the side of the trim will now operation the fireplace.

6.

Install the provided four (4) AA batteries into battery back up holder.
