Creating and working with stories in INEWS
Adding a new story to a rundown in iNEWS
To add a story to a rundown (queue):
1.
Open the queue in which you want the story to appear by double-clicking the queue’s
heading in the Directory Panel (figure
10-1 ).
If stories already exist within the queue, they will be listed in the Queue Panel and Story
Panel. However, if the queue does not already contain stories these panels will be
empty.

2. Click anywhere within the Queue Panel and select the F ILE >N EW STORY command
from the iNEWS menu bar.
3. A new story is inserted in the Queue Panel and Story Form (figure 10-1 ).
4. Type the name of the story in the S LUG column/field of either the Queue Panel or Story
Form.
