System-related settings

This chapter explains how to make settings that affect the entire system of the SD-80. Here’s the basic
procedure for setting these parameters.

Press

The button will light.

until the item you want to edit appears in the display.

The following parameters can be set in the system screen.

•LCD Contrast
•Write Patch
•Inst Init
•Bulk Dump
•Inst Startup
•Sys.EX Device ID
•Control Output
•Preview Mode
•Preview Note
•Preview Velocity
•System Tempo
•USB Driver
•Factory Reset

3.

Turn the

[VALUE] dial

to edit the value of the item.

4.

When you have selected the desired value, press

[ENTER]

Do not turn off the power while the settings are being saved (while the display indicates "Saving ..."). Doing so will
cause all data within the SD-80 to be lost.

5.

Press

[INST]

to return to the main screen.
