Important

If the memory is full, only outgoing message 2 will be played
(answering machine only, without the opportunity to record a caller's
message).

When a call is received and if the answering machine is switched on, the answering machine
picks up the call automatically after the preselected number of rings in the operating mode
selected (see above, outgoing message 1 or 2). If

outgoing message 1 has been selected, a beep is heard after the outgoing message and
the caller is able to leave a message (maximum 3 minutes).

outgoing message 2 has been selected, it is played. After the beep, the line will
automatically be disconnected. The caller does not have the opportunity to leave
a message.

Info

If nothing is said in the +/-7 seconds after the call is picked up, the
line is automatically disconnected.

9.3

Switching the answering machine on/off

The

icon is displayed if the answering machine is switched off. If the answering machine

is switched on, the

icon is displayed and the answering machine picks up the call after

a specified number of rings (see “9.5 Setting the number of rings”).
