The equipment must not be used in a damp environment (e.g. bathrooms) or rooms
where there is a lot of dust.

Equipment connected to the mains during a thunderstorm can be damaged by lightning.
Therefore, you should always pull the power supply plug from the socket and the
telephone cable from the telephone socket during a thunderstorm.

The power supply plug should be pulled out of the mains socket to fully disconnect the
device from the mains. Always pull the power supply plug and never the cable.

Check cables regularly for damage, protect them from hot surfaces and other hazards,
unwind them fully, lay them so that nobody can trip over them and do not constrict them.

Fire risks:

Risk of injury or death from fire!
Never expose the device to excessive heat and disconnect from the
230 V mains immediately in the event of a hazard.

Heat building up inside the equipment can lead to faults and/or fires inside the equipment.
Therefore, do not expose this equipment to extreme temperatures such as:

direct exposure to sunlight or heat from a heater.

Do not cover the ventilation slots in the device.

Risk of explosion:

Pay particular attention to rechargeable or disposable batteries.

Never throw disposable or rechargeable batteries into a fire.

Do not use the device in potentially explosive environments.

Keep batteries away from small children.

Risk of suffocation:

Pay particular attention to children.

Keep packaging films out of the reach of children.

Consider possible risks to children (strangulation) when routing the cables.

Faults:

Possible risk of injury due to faults in the device!
Take particular care with medical electrical devices.

The function of medical electrical devices may be affected by electromagnetic radiation
from your device. Therefore make sure that the device is installed and operated
sufficiently far away from medical electrical devices.



The same applies to implanted medical devices such as pacemakers.

The handset can cause an unpleasant humming noise in hearing aids, therefore keep a
sufficient distance away from hearing aids.
