7.1.1. System Submenu

When the System option is selected, a pop-up menu contains the following options:

Option

How it Works

Optical Disc Auto
Play

On/Off settings for disc play. When On, the unit automatically plays an
optical disc when inserted. When Off, the user must select Play to start
playing a disc.

Network Access

Determines the network access through the Ethernet port. Settings: Limit
Access, Always Allow Access, or Prohibit Access.

Note: When Prohibit Access is active, BD-Live content will not be
accessible when playing Blu-ray discs.

BD-Live Storage

Displays the available free space for BD-Live storage. The maximum
value for BD-Live Storage is 400.3 MB.

Erase BD Live
Storage

Erases disc storage on the Blu-ray DVD player. Choose Ok or Cancel at
the prompt.

Ok: Erases the BD-Live Storage and closes the popup window.

Cancel: Closes the popup window without erasing the disc storage.

CEC Support

Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) supports status messages for the
device.

This feature is currently not implemented.

Restore Factory
Defaults

Restores the unit to the factory default settings. Choose Ok or Cancel at
the prompt.

Ok: Restores the factory defaults and closes the popup window.

Cancel: Closes the popup window without resetting the factory
defaults.

Activate Device (or
De-activate Device
if device is
activated)
