7.1.4.1. Display Type

Use the Display Type options to set the format of the Composite video output. Select
SettingsDisplayDisplay Type, and use the arrow buttons and then press
ENTER to select either option.

Press ENTER to open the Display Type pop-up menu that contains the following
options:

Option

How it Works

NTSC

Sets the Composite video output to NTSC format.

PAL

Sets the Composite video output to PAL format when the Digital Video
Resolution is set to a value other than Auto.

Note: Display Type will default to NTSC format if the Digital Video Resolution (see
Section

7.1.4.3

) is set to Auto.

7.1.4.2. HDMI Preferred Format

The HDMI Preferred Format is a read-only field that displays the resolution of the
monitor connected via the DVI/HDMI connector. Select SettingsDisplay
Type
HDMI Preferred Format, and then press ENTER to view the field.
