7.1.2. Network Submenu
When you select the Network option, the Blu-ray DVD player initiates a network test and
displays the test results in a summary window. All fields are read-only unless you change
the IP Mode options. Select SettingsNetwork and then press ENTER to open the
window, as shown below.

7.1.2.1. IP Mode Submenu
IP Mode enables you to set values manually for the Network options. Select
SettingsNetworkIP Mode, and use the arrow buttons and then press ENTER to
select the following IP Mode options:
Option How it Works
Off Disables Ethernet communications.
Manual
Enables you to set values manually for the IP Address, Subnet Mask,
Gateway, Primary DNS, and Secondary DNS fields.
Dynamic
Uses DHCP to acquire an IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, Primary
DNS, and Secondary DNS fields.
