Messages recorded on the answering machine in the base station can be

played back remotely via the external line, through the base station loud-

speaker and via the handset. This function enables you to play back only the

newly-recorded messages which have not been listened to before. The green

light on the top of the base station flashes quickly when a new message has

been received. The message icon on the handset display does the same.

Playing back new messages via the base station

If there are new messages on the answering machine, the green light on the

top of the base station flashes quickly. It flashes slowly when all messages

have been played.
