Each FX port has two LEDs to the right of the SC connector. Table 3-3 lists the
LEDs and their function.

LED Color Status Description
LINK
Link Green Solid Link is active and connected.
Flashing The link is interrupted
Off There is no link present on the port
Diag Amber Used by support engineers.
STATUS
Activity Green Solid
Flashing LED lights when data is being
received or transmitted.
Off There is no data transmission
currently on the link.
Collision Amber Flashing Collision when in half-duplex mode.
