5 The Guide
5.1 Basics
! Access the Program Guide ! Touch the Guide button on the front of your device.
! Browse the Program Guide ! Swipe your finger vertically on the screen to view all
program channels.
! Swipe your finger horizontally across the screen to view
programs by time.
! Dismiss the Program Guide ! Touch the Guide button a second time.
! Watch a program ! Touch a program title to start watching.
! Learn more about a program ! Touch the information bar.
! Watch full-screen video ! Touch the Back button.
! Change channels without using the
Program Guide ! Swipe your finger vertically on the touch screen. The
original channel continues to play while information bars
scroll past. Touch the information bar of the program you
want to watch to change the channel.
5.2 Searching
You can locate future programs by using the search feature. You can also set a reminder to alert
you when the program is about to air.
1. In the Program Guide, touch . If this icon is not visible from the screen you are
viewing, press the Guide button.
2. The Time window appears showing the current day and time.
a. Touch the arrows right and left to change the day and time.
b. Touch Show The Guide At This Time to move to the day and time in the guide.
5.3 Displaying channel information
You can display channel information while the device is in the TV player.
! Touch the screen.
! The FLO TV™ Personal Television displays the program information bar.
! Channel information is also displayed after powering on the device or when changing
channels.
