Recording onto two tracks

You can record a pair of tracks at a time. A pair can be tracks 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 or 7-8.
The following describes the procedure for recording a stereo keyboard onto tracks 5-6 while
listening to the guitar sound recorded on track 1.

Preparation for recording

1) Set the [INPUT A SELECT] switch to "MIC/LINE".

2) Connect stereo outputs of the keyboard to the

input connectors on the [INPUT A] and [INPUT B]
sections.

3) Press the [REC SELECT] key for track 5/6.

Track 5/6 is armed, while track number "5-6" starts
flashing on the screen.
In the song name display section on the screen, the
remaining time (available recording time) of the
card is shown.

4) Set the track 5/6 fader and [MASTER] fader to the

nominal position (marked by “

”).

Raising these faders allows you to monitor the
input sound. If these faders are not raised, you
cannot monitor the sound via headphones.

5) Press the [RECORD] key.

The armed tracks (tracks 5/6, in this case) now
changes from tape monitoring to input
monitoring, while "

" is shown on the

screen.
