You can program your remote
control to operate many popular
brands of televisions. Find your
TV on the list at right and follow
the instructions for setup. To
determine which remote control
buttons are available to control
your TV, see the table on the
following page.

Turn On TV

Press the power button on your TV.

Program Code

Press and hold down the TV button while
entering the 2-digit code for your brand of
television with the 0–9 keys (see table).
Note: If there is more than one code for
your brand of TV, try them all until one
works.

Check Your Results

If the TV advances to the next active
channel, programming is complete! If the
TV does not respond, try another 2-digit
code. Some TV’s are not listed but can be
programmed.

Operate Your TV

Press TV to set the remote control to
operate your TV. Note: When the remote
control is in TV mode, it will NOT operate
your VCR. To return to VCR mode, press
VCR on the remote control.
