Jumpers

The RASCard has five configuration jumpers. One is used for the watchdog timer; the
other four are used to select the CPU frequency and the CPU-to-bus frequency ratio.

J17 Watchdog Timer

Jumper pins 1 and 2 to enable the watchdog timer. Jumper pins 2 and 3 to disable the
watchdog timer. The watchdog timer is enabled by default, as shown in Figure 1.

J14, J15, J16, J18 CPU Frequency Selection

Jumper J14, J15, J16, and J18 to select the CPU frequency and CPU-to-bus frequency
ratio for the installed CPU, as shown in the following table. In Figure 1, the jumpers are
shown configured for a 166 MHz Pentium.

Warning:

The RASCard supports only the following Intel Pentium CPUs. Do not

replace the original CPU with a Pentium Pro, MMX, AMD, or Cyrix CPU.
