5. Configuring the Printer
You can set specific printer features to match your operation.
Check digits Lets you enter various check digit
calculation schemes to generate check
digits. See "Defining a Check Digit."
Passwords One password function lets you change
passwords for Format Entry, Printer
Configuration, and Auto-online modes. The
other function lets you look at the
passwords. See "Changing Passwords" or
"Displaying Passwords."
Time Sets the time prompt to appear during daily
startup. See "Setting the Time."
Date One date function lets you set the date
prompt to appear during daily startup. The
other function lets you select the format for
entry and printing of the date. See "Setting
the Date" and "Selecting the Date Format."
Online Sets the online communication options to
match the host computer. See "Setting the
Online Parameters."
Clear Batch
Memory at
Power-up Clears batches automatically at power up.
