I. 2-Thread converter
To engage the 2-thread converter
Hand turn the handwheel until the upper looper is in
an up position.
Lower the converter and insert the hook into the
upper looper.
To disengage the 2-thread converter
Hand turn the handwheel until the upper looper is in
an up position.
Remove the hook from the looper eye and lift the
converter up until it secures in the far right position.
Example:
3-Thread Wide:
disengage the 2-thread converter.
J. Needle plate setting knob
(Chaining finger)
Your machine comes equipped with a rolled hem plate.
You can do all overlock stitches by engaging or
disengaging the chaining finger.

To Engage (up)
Pull the needle plate setting knob up.
w Needle plate setting knob
To Disengage (down)
Push the needle plate setting knob down.
