Creating/Editing a Mixer


To create a Mixer, select “New” under the File menu. If a Mixer is already open, you will be given
the option to save it. Then a blank Mixer will appear. Clicking on the Mix Control/Edit toggle
selects either “Mixer Control" mode or “Mixer Edit” mode, and the Mix Control/Edit toggle itself
and the mouse pointer change according to the current mode, as shown:
















NOTE: It’s also possible to load an existing Mixer and edit it. 


Seven tools are available in the Toolbar, at the top of the SSL Soundscape Mixer window, for mixer
creation/edition:


Create tool: for adding new mixer columns or mixer elements.

I/O and DSP Assign tool: for modifying routing or DSP assignments.

Mute tool: for muting mixer elements or complete mixer columns.

Move tool: for moving mixer elements or mixer columns.

Copy tool: for copying mixer elements or mixer columns.

Delete tool: for deleting mixer elements or mixer columns.

Element Info tool: used to display information about mixer elements or mixer columns.
