You can select analog audio/video signals for
output to the 2nd zone or audio signals for the
3rd zone. For details on the connection, see
page 53.

Press 2ND ZONE or 3RD ZONE.

The remote switches to the 2nd zone or 3rd
zone mode. For details on the supplied
remote, refer to the operating instructions
supplied with the remote.

Turn on the main receiver (this
receiver).

Turn on the amplifier in the 2nd or 3rd
zone.

Press one of the input buttons on the
remote to select the source signals you
want to output.

You can also use ZONE 2ND and ZONE
3RD on the receiver. For the 2nd zone,
analog video and audio signals are output.
For the 3rd zone, only analog audio signals

are output. When you select “SOURCE”,
the signals of the current input are output.

Press MASTER VOL +/– on the remote
to adjust the volume of the 2nd zone or
3rd zone.

The default setting of the volume is –• dB
(no sound output).

Tips

• Even when this receiver is turned off, the receiver in

the 2nd zone or 3rd zone remains turned on. To turn
off all receivers, press ?/1 and AV ?/1 on the
remote at the same time (STSTEM STANDBY).

• Only signals from components connected to the

analog input jacks are output through the ZONE
OUT 2ND or ZONE OUT 3RD jacks. No signals are
output from components connected to only the
digital input jacks.

• When “SOURCE” is selected, the signals input to the

MULTI CH IN jacks are not output from the ZONE
OUT 2ND or ZONE OUT 3RD jacks even when
MULTI CH IN is selected. The analog audio signals
of the current function are output.
