Installing the batteries and charging the cordless handset

Be sure to read the battery precautions on page 5.

Connect the battery connector

Insert the batteries into the cordless handset, making sure that the “+”
and “-” sides are placed correctly.

Place the battery cover on the cordless
handset, making sure it snaps firmly
into place.
•
Make sure the wires are not caught or
pinched by the cover.

Place the cordless handset in the
charger with the dial pad facing
forward.
•
Important! The dial pad must face
forward, or the batteries will not charge.
•
The batteries charges automatically
while the cordless handset is in the
charger. While charging, the display
shows:
When charging is finished, the battery
icon appears full:
Charge the
batteries at least
12
hours the first time!
