The front panel of the DS-2FSM module is composed of the following parts:
„ 2 standard SC 100M single-mode optical interfaces
„ 2 LINK status indicator
„ 2 ACT status indicator
Of the above, the different states of LINK and ACT indicators show the port operating status. For
details, refer to Table 2-15.

Solid on After a stable connection between a port and the
equipment is established, the indicator of the port
stays solid on. LINK Green
Off The link on the port is down.
Flashing Data are being received/transmitted on the
optical port. ACT Yellow
Off No data are being received/transmitted on the
optical port.
