SET UP
[MODE LOCK] Preserving the Mode Settings
This function preserves the camera mode functions set in the “s”, “m” or "SET UP"
mode when the power is turned OFF. (page 99)
Operation — setting to [ON]

Turn on the power and set the mode select dial to “SET UP”.
[BEEP] Turning ON or OFF the focusing beeps and
shutter release sound
Operation — setting to [OFF]

Turn on the power and set the mode select dial to “SET UP”.
[ON] Mode settings are preserved even if the power is turned off.
[OFF]
(default) Mode settings will be returned to their default values when the
power is turned off.

Press Up or Down on the directional keypad to
select [MODE LOCK], then press Right on the
directional keypad.

Press Up on the directional keypad to select [ON],
then press the e button to complete the setting.
[ON] Set the Beep to ON.
[OFF] Turns the beeping sound off.

select [BEEP], then press Right on the directional
keypad.

select [OFF], press the e button to complete the
