Using links in messages

When you receive a text message that
contains a telephone number, email
address, or URL, you can dial the number,
send an email message, or go to the web
page immediately.

1 Press Applications

and select

Messaging

.

2 Select the message that contains the

link you want to use.

3 Select the phone number, email

address, or URL (appears as underlined
blue text).

Your Treo automatically launches the
appropriate application from the link.

TIP

When you receive a message, you can

also press Send to call the sender.

TIP

If you have multiple alerts, the Alert dialog

box displays all your pending alerts. Select an
item’s description to jump to that item, or
check the box to clear that item. To view all
your pending alerts from any screen on your
Treo 680, press and hold Center on the 5-way.
