Setting the Display Language, Date and Time

Set the date and time.
• To choose an item: Press K or J (selected in the
following order: D (day)
➝ M (month) ➝ Y (year) ➝
hour
➝ minute ➝ DMY (date display order)).
• To set the contents: Rotate the rotary multi selector, or
press H or I.
• YMD, MDY or DMY can be chosen for the order in which
the day, month, and year are displayed.

Finally, choose DMY, and apply the selection
by pressing the
k button or K.
• The clock starts. The lens extends and the monitor
display reverts to shooting mode.

Imprinting the Date and Changing the Date and Time
• To imprint the date on pictures when shooting, first set the date and time, and then set Date
imprint ( A174) in the setup menu (A167).
• To change the date and time of the camera clock, select Date in Date ( A170) of the setup menu.
Follow the procedure described in step 5 above.
• Select Time zone from Date in the setup menu to change the time zone and daylight saving time
settings ( A170).
