important safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
• Read all instructions before using your juice extractor “ ”.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse power cord, plug or motor
base in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before cleaning and before assembling or removing
parts.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the electrical outlet before changing
accessories or approaching parts that move.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Do not touch the small cutting blades located at the
base of the stainless steel filter.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
Authorised Service Centre for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• If unit is operated in any manner other than indicated in this manual, it may cause material
damages or personal injuries.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not let cord touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
• Do not operate this appliance continuously for more than 5 minutes.
• Always make sure juicer cover is locked securely in place before motor is turned on.
• Do not unfasten clamp while juicer is in operation.
• Be sure to turn switch to off position “
” after each use of your juicer. Make sure the
motor stops completely before disassembling.
• Do not put your fingers or other objects into the juicer opening while it is in operation. If
food becomes lodged in opening, use food pusher or another piece of fruit or vegetable
to push it down. When this method is not possible turn the motor off and disassemble
juicer to remove the remaining food.
