TCODE
This parameter specifies the set of type assignments to use for
masked comparisons.
Syntax VOLUME TCODE = option(s)

tcode-type Specifies one of the following standard character
sets for which type assignments are defined by
default:
• ASCII
• BCD
• EBCDIC
•
PEBCDIC
• H2BCD
• H6BCD
•
IBMCD
By coding any one of the keywords, you are
furnished with a set of character-to-type
assignments.
tcode-id Specifies an identified label of a TCODE parameter
that defines a set of type assignments.
