7 Troubleshooting

Common problems

HIGH TEMPERATURE (DISTAL
END).
PLEASE IMMEDIATELY PULL OUT
THE INSERTION TUBE.

This message prompts you to stop inspection because the self-check
function was triggered because the distal end was overheating.

Immediately withdraw the insertion tube from the observation object.

NOTE

• This message appears before the atmospheric temperature of the distal

end of the insertion tube reaches the maximum operating ambient
temperature.

LOW BATTERY.
PLEASE CONNECT TO THE AC
ADAPTER OR TURN OFF THE
POWER.

Battery voltage is low.

Stop all image recording, copy, and delete operation, SD card format

operations, etc., and immediately replace the battery. Or you connect the
AC adapter.

BATTERY TEMPERATURE IS HIGH.
PLEASE CONNECT TO THE AC
ADAPTER OR TURN OFF THE
POWER.

Battery temperature up, self-check function activated.

Connect the AC adapter or turn off the power.

THE SPECIFIED FOLDER NAME
ALREADY EXISTS.
PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER NAME.

Illumination does not light.

The LIGHT button (

) is not on.

Turn on the LIGHT button (

).

The optical adapter is not attached properly.

Attach the optical adapter properly.

Electrodes on the optical adapter or the insertion tube distal end are dirty.

Wipe with a clean piece of gauze or a cotton swab.

Or use a brush to remove foreign matter ("Cleaning the optical adapter" (P. 34)).

The LEDs on the distal end of the optical adapter are inoperable.

Replace the optical adapter with a new one.

The illumination is dim.

The optical adapter tip is dirty.

Wipe with a clean piece of gauze or a cotton swab.

Extended use under high ambient temperatures causes decreased light
emissions.

Replace the optical adapter with a new one.
