Making Load Connections (continued)
To make load connections to a 7.5V, 300A power supply:
1.
Remove bus bar top cover. Do not remove chassis-mounted part of the cover.
2.
Loosen wire clamp screws (part of strain relief). Do not disassemble strain relief.
3.
Insert load wire in strain relief.
4.
Install connectors such as the Thomas and Betts wire connector #54158 to load wiring.
5.
Fasten connectors to bus bars with 5/16" x 5/8" (M8 x 16 mm) screws, 5/16" (M8) flat washers, lock
washers, and hex nuts as shown in Figure 2.7-3.
Note:
Bus bar hole sizes are 0.343" D (1); 0.197" D (2).
