This system comes with three 5.25-inch
drive bays located on the upper front part
of the chassis. If your system came with
an optical drive, the optical drive occupies
the topmost bay (1). The lower bays are
available for additional 5.25-inch optical,
zip, or floppy disk drives (2~3).
2.6 Installing 5.25-inch drives
Unplug the power cable before installing or removing any system components.
Failure to do so may cause severe damage to the motherboard and other
system components.

2.6.1 Removing the front panel cover
To remove the front panel cover:

1. Follow the instructions in section 2.1 Chassis cover to remove the side
cover.
You must remove the front panel assembly before installing a 5.25-inch drive.
