Problem Possible cause Solution
The image is
cropped on
the right. Display may be improperly
set. See ” Resolution and Refresh Rates ”to
setup the display or use the position
or size controls of the display to fit the
image on the display.
Input horizontal start may be
set too high. Select Picture>Advanced>H Start and
decrease the setting to match the input
signal.
Horizontal position may be
set too far to the right. Press the front panel Center button and
shift the image to the left.
The image is
cropped on
the top. Display may be improperly

Input vertical start may be set
too low. Select Picture>Advanced>V Start and
increase the setting to match the input
signal.

or size controls of the display to fit the
image on the display.
Input vertical start may be set
too high. Select Picture>Advanced>V Start and
decrease the setting to match the input
signal.
Vertical position may be set
too near to the bottom. Press the front panel Center button and
set the vertical center back to 0.
Frozen image. Freeze is activated. Issue the SIS command 0F to deactivate
freeze mode.
Multiple faint
vertical lines
appear. Input total pixels setting is
incorrect. Select Picture>Advanced>Total Pixels and
experiment with settings until the lines
move completely out of view or only one
remains (see “Single faint vertical line
appears”, below, if necessary).
Single faint
vertical line
appears. Input phase setting is
incorrect. Select Input>Phase and experiment with
settings until the line moves completely
out of view.
