11.10.2 Clear User Help Information
To clear the current text from the entry box, click Clear. The display is automatically placed in Edit mode;
click the entry box to begin entering or editing text.
11.10.3 Import User Help Information
Text which has already been entered in a file can be incorporated into a User Help entry using the Import
button. Click Import to display the Import File window.
The Import File window contains options which aid in file selection using the directory structure of the oper-
ating system which underlies the Micro-PWC software. This manual assumes that the user:
• has had training and/or experience with the appropriate Windows operating system and an
understanding of that system and the commands used on it
• has an understanding of the Windows directory structure
• knows the location of the files to be imported, which can vary from system to system
A discussion of these topics is beyond the scope of this document; if you need assistance in this area,
please consult your system administrator.
11.10.3.1 The File Filter Text Entry Box and List Boxes
The first item in the Import File window is a text entry box labelled File Filter. Below this item is a scrollable
list box which contains, by default, the names of all the files in the current working directory.
To change the file specification, click the desired name in the list box. Alternatively, use the keyboard to
entered the desired filename in the text entry box.
If only a portion of the file name is known, enter the known string in the File Filter text entry box and click
Filter to update the contents of the File Filter listbox and the Selection text entry box, based on the new file

✎ NOTE Once a file name has been selected, clicking on the Filter button at
this point will remove the file name from the Selection entry box.
