Keeping a journal

The journal allows you to keep a record of your work in a series of pictures and
captions as your science investigation progresses.

These steps outline the process of keeping a journal. See the following tasks for
detailed instructions.

1.

Take a snapshot.

An image of the SPARKlab page is recorded.

2.

Optionally, add a caption to the snapshot.

3.

Repeat the previous steps at anytime during your science investigation.

4.

Save, export, or print the journal.

Taking a snapshot

At any time during your science investigation, complete these steps to save an
image of the SPARKlab page.

Touch the Snapshot button.

The SPARK records an image of the SPARKlab page, and the Snapshot Quick
View appears briefly.

The Snapshot Quick View

You can let the Snapshot Quick View close automatically or use the buttons in
the Snapshot Quick View to open the journal or delete the snapshot.
