Power on, but no display a) Loose connections

a) Ensure cables make good

Unstable conductivity
reading
a) Air bubbles in the probe

c) Probe not deep enough in
sample
a) Tap probe to remove air bubbles
b) Clean probe and recalibrate
c) Ensure that the sample entirely
covers the sensor of the probe
Oscillating temperature
readings
a) Electrical noise interference a) Ensure shield wire is properly

Slow response a) Dirty / Oily probe a) Clean probe

a) Ensure temperature sensing
